quick hit slot machines-PCSO turns over P11M to PNP

THE Philippine National Police (PNP) on Friday received over P11 million from the Philippine Charity Sweepstakes Office (PCSO) as part of its share from the small town lottery (STL) revenues.

During the turnover ceremony, PCSO Chairman Junie Cua and general manager Melquiades Robles personally gave the check worth P11,149,559.87 to PNP chief Gen. Rodlfo Azurin Jr., at the PNP headquarters in Camp Crame.

According to Robles, this is the second tranche under the new administration, with the PNP receiving five percent of the gross sales from STL.

"The PNP share of P11 million as you have seen but what is more significant here is the partnership that we have forged through the years. PCSO and the PNP are together. If we are involved in the charity it is because we had the funds that we have raised in cooperation with the PNP," Robles said in his speech.
